Here is our R&D Farm Cat cattery, otherwise known as the "cat house".  As you can tell by other pictures, Ron and I don't have a screened in porch, but my cats do.  They can go inside and outside by way of a pet door in the back of their "apartments".  There are upper and lower apartments that the girls claim when they have kittens.  As you can see, they have plenty of ramps toys and things to climb, jump and play on.  Not to mention lots of fresh air and sunlight.  Even when we had our ice storm, most of them would go outside and sit and watch it rain, then snow.  The cats also have doors between the outside pens, so as long as no one has brand new kittens, they can go wherever they want.  I can shut them and fasten them, if a mom needs quiet time or time away from Monty.  (or Monty needs time away from the girls).  Donna J.
